It is Olde Growth Pine, which means that this wood had been growing for many years before it was cut and turned into a home. The grain is super tight. 7 holes of various sizes are situated in this block for pens, pencils, paintbrushes and other small tools to help keep your work space in order. ???

Husband and wife team Margo and Walter Kent live and work in Philadelphia, PA, driven by the belief that you can repurpose goods to make amazing, functional and useful new products. Walter grew up helping his dad, a builder. As an adult, Walter heard about an old barn that was being torn down, and he was able to utilize so many useful parts from the property that would have been thrown away Peg and Awl was born!
